We are an industry-leading provider of Water Hygiene and Legionella services across the UK, currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Water Hygiene Account Manager.

This position involves delivering exceptional sales and account management services to clients in various sectors, including Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, and Local Authorities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing existing accounts while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. Responsibilities include upselling and promoting services to ensure targets are met in accordance with company standards.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Water Hygiene or Legionella management role, particularly in sales or account management.
  • Possession of an industry-recognized legionella qualification is advantageous (e.g., City and Guilds, WMSoc or equivalent).
  • Ability to provide excellent technical and consultancy advice.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to manage work schedules in alignment with company and client requirements.
  • Confidence in upselling and promoting business services.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • Strong communication skills.


The Role:
  • Overseeing and managing Water Hygiene accounts across various sectors.
  • Achieving revenue targets.
  • Upselling and promoting a comprehensive range of company services, including surveying, monitoring, remedials, and maintenance.
  • Efficiently sourcing new accounts.
  • Attending sites to oversee service delivery.
  • Liaising with clients to provide outstanding consultancy and technical support.
  • Providing competitive quotes, tenders, and bid submissions for new and existing clients.
  • Managing the operational delivery of existing contracts.
  • Mobilizing and implementing new contracts and projects.
  • Producing detailed reports on operational performance and business efficiency.
  • Engaging in business development through direct sales within existing and new accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with longstanding clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines and company policies.
  • Managing and supporting a team of supervisors, consultants, technicians, and engineers.
