Position Overview: Our client, Barbara Houghton Associates, is in search of a Commodity Change Analyst to enhance their team on a permanent basis.

This position will focus on providing a commodity and business perspective to evaluate, report, and facilitate the implementation across various sectors within the organization.

The role will primarily be based in London, with responsibilities that include collaborating with different sectors within the organization, spending time at their locations to document and analyze existing operational methods leading to implementation and subsequent analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive business insights across commodities to support the optimization and enhancement of operational processes.
  • Establish procedures aimed at improving data standardization, quality, and coverage, with an initial emphasis on compliance with EU regulations.
  • Create training materials tailored for diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to align on operational requirements and ensure project alignment.
  • Offer recommendations, propose standardization strategies, and prioritize methodologies for business teams within an agile project framework.
  • Provide updates and identify risks associated with assigned activities.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a business or data analyst in a business process or transformation capacity.
  • A degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in communication planning and execution to support change initiatives, with the ability to convey messages clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Demonstrated numeracy, analytical, and report writing skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish and/or French is desirable.
