Position Overview

Job Title: Commodities Analyst

Location: London

Salary Range: £55,000 - £75,000

Working Style: Hybrid

Inventum Group is collaborating with a prominent International Commodities firm seeking a skilled Commodities Analyst to enhance their London operations. In this pivotal role, you will engage with the global Transformation Team to facilitate the rollout of products across diverse regions, delivering comprehensive commodity and business evaluations to ensure effective implementation and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the global Transformation Team to evaluate and report on the rollout of products and initiatives across various business units and geographical locations.
  • Generate cross-commodity business insights to support the optimization and evolution of business processes, while identifying potential future transformation opportunities.
  • Perform detailed assessments of existing business practices and workflows within various commodity-centric operations.
  • Provide recommendations and propose standardization and prioritization methodologies for Business teams within an agile project framework.
  • Document and analyze current operational methods to inform implementation strategies and conduct post-implementation evaluations.
  • Compile comprehensive reports and present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation and upkeep of project documentation, including business requirements, process diagrams, and implementation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a project-driven environment, preferably within the commodities or supply chain sector.
  • A degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and knowledge of Business Analysis practices in a multi-entity global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a global team.
  • Proactive approach with exceptional communication, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
