We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS team in Wigan. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people with mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including assessments, formulation, and therapeutic input, to children, young people, and families referred to the service.
- Undertake risk assessments and care plans in line with the THRIVE framework.
- Work sensitively with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Screen referrals to children and Young People services, including urgent referrals.
- Participate in the team's duty rotas.
We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Practitioner with a strong background in CAMHS. Essential qualifications include registration on the NMC register and current NMC registration. Desirable qualifications include post-registration training in the relevant field, leadership/management training, and experience of mentorship, supervision, and coordination of staff.
