About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, you will work with individuals experiencing common mental health problems, providing low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver low-intensity CBT interventions to individuals experiencing common mental health problems.
  • Work within a team to provide high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Collaborate with management and senior staff to ensure effective service delivery.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Recognized PWP qualification, Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice Interventions for Mental Health (APIMH) or equivalent.
  • Evidence of competent delivery of low-intensity CBT for common mental health disorders.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Masters in APIMH or equivalent.
  • Experience of delivering groups for common mental health disorders.
