Position Overview

Global E&C is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to contribute to our ongoing projects. This role is based in a dynamic office environment.

As a Senior Project Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee project initiatives related to the Facilities team while managing your own set of tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by managing costs and timelines effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Senior Facilities Engineers and Team Leaders in delivering their project portfolios.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
  • Facilitating regular reporting to the business regarding the status of the Facilities portfolio.
  • Overseeing all project management deliverables throughout the lifecycle of each scope, including budget forecasting and expenditure approvals.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure the successful delivery of the annual work program.
  • Coordinating with departments such as Maintenance, Integrity, Production, Drilling, and Developments to manage all project interfaces effectively.
  • Working closely with both onshore and offshore vendors.
  • Establishing and maintaining standards and specifications within facilities engineering to ensure consistent quality that meets corporate and legislative standards.
  • Supporting functions to ensure timely completion of Facilities-related actions, including the resolution of Corrective Work Orders.
  • Proactively anticipating future Facilities needs and associated costs to support long-term planning.
  • Participating in daily reporting, planning updates, and meetings between teams.
  • Promoting effective management of the MCDR portfolio.
  • Encouraging a culture of excellence in Process Safety.

To excel in this position, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Capability to manage project delivery at a portfolio level.
  • Valid offshore survival certifications and medical qualifications.
  • Effective vendor management skills.
  • Experience and technical expertise in multi-discipline projects.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering results across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in leading successful teams.
  • Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required.
  • A Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • A formal qualification in project management or progress towards one.
  • Management of all shutdown-related Facilities, Integrity, and Maintenance activities requiring contractor services.
  • Coordination of vessel cleaning, inspections, and related remedial work scopes.
