Global E&C is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to contribute to our ongoing projects. This position involves working closely with our Facilities team and managing a diverse portfolio of engineering scopes.
As a Senior Project Engineer, your role will encompass overseeing project activities to ensure successful delivery within the designated timelines and budgets. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Senior Facilities Engineers and Team Leaders in the execution of their project portfolios.
- Engaging with various stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
- Facilitating regular reporting on the status of Facilities projects to the Business.
- Managing all project deliverables throughout the lifecycle, including cost forecasting and budget oversight.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve successful execution of the annual work program.
- Coordinating with departments such as Maintenance, Integrity, Production, Drilling, and Developments to manage all project interfaces effectively.
- Working alongside onshore and offshore vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Establishing and maintaining standards and specifications for facilities engineering to ensure compliance with corporate and legislative standards.
- Supporting functions to ensure timely completion of Facilities-related actions.
- Forecasting future Facilities needs and costs to aid in long-term planning.
- Participating in daily reporting, planning updates, and meetings with both platform and office teams.
- Promoting effective management of the MCDR portfolio.
- Encouraging a culture of excellence in Process Safety.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- Proven ability to manage project delivery at a portfolio level.
- Valid offshore survival certifications and medical clearance.
- Experience in vendor management and collaboration.
- Technical expertise in multi-discipline projects.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of delivering results across various stakeholders.
- Experience in leading successful teams.
- Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required.
- Advanced qualifications (preferred).
- Formal project management training or progress towards certification.
- Oversight of all shutdown-related Facilities, Integrity, and Maintenance activities.
- Management of specialist third-party vendors involved in these activities.
- Coordination of vessel cleaning, inspections, and associated remedial work scopes.
