Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen or London. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of method engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate a team of method engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets.
- Provide technical reference for pipeline installation and contribute to the sub-contractors selection.
- Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities and subcontract follow up.
- Support installation aid procurement, fabrication and testing follow up.
- Follow your scope offshore on our installation vessels.
- Degree qualified in Engineering/Marine/Naval/Offshore Technology / Civil / Mechanical or equivalent.
- Extensive experience as a project engineer, the majority of this from within the offshore energy industry.
- Demonstrable years of experience of offshore pipeline installation methods, ideally using the reel lay method, but S or J-lay method could also be considered as relevant experience.
- Experience of guiding and leading teams of engineers in project scopes.
