We are currently seeking a Distribution Manager to become a vital part of our team. This role involves overseeing operations with some travel across various sites. The preferred candidate will possess a CPC accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

The Distribution Manager will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Execute the logistics strategy, achieving established KPIs.
  • Lead and nurture the logistics team to generate value and results for the Mortar division.
  • Manage projects, guiding team efforts to ensure timely delivery and precise planning, including the formulation of new operational practices.
  • Conduct FORS audits, facilitate haulier inductions, and perform truck inspections. Additionally, you will lead safety meetings with hauliers and assess their safety performance.
  • Supervise the transportation and distribution of all Mortar Products.
  • Aid in the effective application of policies and procedures regarding regulatory impacts and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement new policies or adjust existing procedures to reduce costs, enhance accuracy, improve customer service and safety, and fulfill product distribution requirements.
  • Assist the logistics team in ensuring compliance for company vehicles and drivers, including tachographs, maintenance, record-keeping, and driver training.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Distribution Manager position will have relevant experience in a similar capacity, including:

  • CPC qualification.
