Leonardo presents an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Solutions Architect to become part of their dynamic team within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) division. This division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge support solutions to clients, ensuring that essential capabilities are consistently available.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in security engineering, particularly in the development and management of security systems tailored for defense and governmental sectors. As the Senior Security Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all security facets of product design, development, and maintenance throughout their entire lifecycle. You will work closely with product development teams to design and implement robust security measures, offering expert guidance in product security.

  • Collaborate with customer security assessors and project engineering teams to guarantee adherence to security protocols.
  • Develop Security Management Plans, work package descriptions, and cost assessments for product proposals.
  • Perform security risk evaluations, formulate mitigation strategies, and prepare documentation for system accreditation.
  • Establish product security specifications, advise development teams on implementation standards, and supervise development processes.
  • Engage with Security Assessors and Security Assurance Coordinators for accreditation support.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, including Protection Profiles and Security Targets.
  • Provide ongoing support for product security, encompassing vulnerability and patch management.
  • Lead security incident management teams during critical situations.
  • Review and enhance product security policies and procedures.
  • Deliver product security training to project engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in crafting security solutions for military and commercial products.
  • Registered NCSC certified professional with a solid understanding of Information Assurance standards.
  • Practical experience with security accreditation documentation and evaluation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic technologies, key management systems, and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
  • Knowledge of operating systems, firmware, software security controls, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to business improvement and influencing others.
  • Experience with Enterprise Security Architectures (SABSA, MODAF).
