Position Overview

Kings Camps operates sports and activity day camps designed for children during school holidays, promoting our mission of encouraging physical activity, enjoyment, and collaborative learning. We are currently searching for a vibrant and enthusiastic team for our upcoming seasons.

Our exceptional programs are delivered by dedicated individuals who create memorable holiday experiences for children. We are looking for energetic and passionate coaches, referred to as Red Tops, to help us achieve our goals.

Role Responsibilities

As a Multi Sports Coach, you will report to the Camp Manager and collaborate with a like-minded team. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, working with groups of up to 16 children across various age ranges. Your primary focus will be to deliver high-energy, enjoyable, and inclusive sessions that engage every child, regardless of their skill level.

Ensuring child safety is our utmost priority. You will be responsible for the welfare of children at all times, supervising during breaks, participating in swimming activities, overseeing equipment use, and promptly addressing any incidents.

As an Ofsted registered organization, you will also have the chance to observe our commitment to high standards in child care and wellbeing. Additionally, you will have opportunities to obtain first aid qualifications, interact with parents or guardians, and benefit from our industry-leading training.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Availability during school holidays, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5:30 pm
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children
  • At least 3 months' experience in coaching sports or active games
  • Energetic, resilient, and a team-oriented individual
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  • Possession of a Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
