About the Role

In this position, you will report to the Camp Manager and collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, where you will engage with groups of up to 16 children across various age ranges, delivering high-energy, inclusive sessions that encourage active participation.

Child safety is our utmost priority. You will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of children at all times, supervising them during breaks, participating in swimming activities, overseeing the safe use of equipment, and promptly addressing any incidents.

As an Ofsted registered organization, you will have the opportunity to observe our high standards in child care and wellbeing, gain first aid qualifications, build relationships with parents and guardians, and benefit from our industry-leading training.

Person Specification (Ideal, but with some flexibility)

  • Availability between 8 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children.
  • At least 3 months' experience in coaching sports or active games.
  • A vibrant, resilient, and collaborative team player.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Possession of a Level 2 or higher qualification in: Primary or Secondary Teaching; Sports Coaching; or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available).
