Clinical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various types of cancer, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending Consultant-led out-patient clinics and undertaking related administrative tasks and chemotherapy prescribing.
- Supervising SHOs and ward patients, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Reviewing patients attending for chemotherapy and radiotherapy, providing expert guidance to nursing and radiography staff.
- Teaching SHOs and medical students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Participating in clinical governance and audit activities, driving quality improvement initiatives.
