Job Title: Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various types of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outpatient Clinics: Attend consultant-led outpatient clinics, both in the centre and peripheral clinics, and undertake related administrative tasks and chemotherapy prescribing.
  2. Supervision: Supervise SHOs and ward patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
  3. Review and Teaching: Review patients attending for chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and teach SHOs and medical students.
  4. Clinical Governance: Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high standards of patient care.
