Job Title: Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join our team at the Kent Oncology Centre in Canterbury. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients from East Kent and work closely with our team of medical and clinical oncologists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

The post holder will be responsible for attending consultant-led outpatient clinics, supervising SHOs and ward patients, reviewing patients attending for chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and teaching SHOs and medical students. They will also be involved in clinical governance and audit activities.

Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Higher Qualification in Medicine or Surgery
Key Responsibilities
  • Attending consultant-led outpatient clinics
  • Supervising SHOs and ward patients
  • Reviewing patients attending for chemotherapy and radiotherapy
  • Teaching SHOs and medical students
  • Participating in clinical governance and audit activities
