Job Summary

The Cell Therapy Account Manager has primary responsibility for developing the relationship with Autolus' Advanced Therapy Treatment Centers (ATTCs) in their respective region and serves as the ATTC's primary point of contact with Autolus. In this role, the CTAM is responsible for driving appropriate utilization of Autolus' CAR T therapies within the account and ensuring the delivery of a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Autolus' relationship within account, including executive administration.
  • Build and maintain account profiles for each aligned ATTC.
  • Develop significant business relationships with senior account-level leadership, thought leaders, and other decision-makers/key stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for the ATTC and collaborate with Autolus colleagues to create a streamlined, organized interface.
  • Identify and understand the needs of account stakeholders and collaborate with Autolus cross-functional colleagues (e.g., Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Quality) to find or develop solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day operations within account, including:
    • Defining the onboarding strategy and leading the coordination activation process for all ATTCs in territory.
    • Coordinating all Autolus operational activities (e.g., site qualification, site setup, patient treatment).
    • Managing compliance-related activities (e.g., periodic audits).
    • Providing clinical instruction to clinical staff (e.g., AE Management Guide, Package Insert [PI]).
    • Overseeing activities in patient treatment areas to ensure Chain of Identity (COI) per SOP protocols.
    • Identifying and onboarding additional sites to expand the number of ATTCs in the UK.
    • Driving appropriate utilization within account(s).
    • Assessing performance of Autolus' therapies within account and developing and executing strategic account plans to drive appropriate utilization.
    • Working in close collaboration with Marketing and Medical Affairs, routinely meeting with key ATTC stakeholders to educate on the use of Autolus' therapies and communicate the latest approved messaging and clinical data.
    • Maintaining clinical expertise in basic principles of Haematology, Immunology, aALL disease, and treatment, and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.
    • Supporting key Autolus strategic activities.
    • Providing Medical Affairs colleagues with appropriate feedback and insights from interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
    • Providing support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings with thought leaders.
    • Facilitating and providing timely feedback to appropriate Autolus management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues, and business opportunities.
    • Cultivating relationships and actively participating in grassroots advocacy/engagement activities within territory to align with regional and national initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated record of successful CAR-T Oncology Account Management.
  • Experienced leader with CAR T launch experience with 1 or more CAR T Products in the UK.
  • Proven history of leading cross-functional teams and cultivating B2B opportunities.
  • Experienced in attaining customer insights and driving change in day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to operate in an environment with little direction and produce exceptional results.
  • 80% field-based with ability to travel in the UK.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree +10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated record of successful account management in large accounts (direct or indirect line leadership experience) and strong brand differentiation skills.
  • Deep clinical expertise in Haematology/Oncology disease and understanding of treatment landscape (5-7 years of experience).
  • Strong clinical understanding of cell therapy and ability to manage complex treatment logistics.
  • Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and/or Autolus policies. ABPI certified preferred.
