Role Summary

The Cell Therapy Account Manager will have primary responsibility for developing relationships with Autolus' Advanced Therapy Treatment Centers (ATTCs) in their respective region and serving as the ATTC's primary point of contact with Autolus. In this role, the CTAM will drive appropriate utilization of Autolus' CAR T therapies within the account and ensure the delivery of a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Autolus' relationship within the account, including executive administration.
  • Build and maintain account profiles for each aligned ATTC.
  • Develop significant business relationships with senior account-level leadership, thought leaders, and other decision-makers/key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the ATTC and collaborate with Autolus colleagues to create a streamlined, organized interface.
  • Identify and understand the needs of account stakeholders and collaborate with Autolus cross-functional colleagues to find or develop solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day operations within the account, including defining the onboarding strategy, leading the coordination activation process for all ATTCs in the territory, coordinating all Autolus operational activities, managing compliance-related activities, providing clinical instruction to clinical staff, overseeing activities in patient treatment areas, and identifying and onboarding additional sites to expand the number of ATTCs in the UK.
  • Drive appropriate utilization within the account(s) by assessing performance of Autolus' therapies and developing and executing strategic account plans.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Medical Affairs to educate key ATTC stakeholders on the use of Autolus' therapies and communicate the latest approved messaging and clinical data.
  • Maintain clinical expertise in basic principles of hematology, immunology, ALL disease, and treatment, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
  • Provide Medical Affairs colleagues with appropriate feedback and insights from interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • Support key Autolus strategic activities, including facilitating and providing timely feedback to appropriate Autolus management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues, and business opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships and actively participate in grassroots advocacy/engagement activities within the territory to align with regional and national initiatives.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated record of successful CAR-T oncology account management.
  • Experienced leader with CAR T launch experience with 1 or more CAR T products in the UK.
  • Proven history of leading cross-functional teams and cultivating B2B opportunities.
  • Experienced in attaining customer insights and driving change in day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to operate in an environment with little direction and produce exceptional results.
  • 80% field-based with ability to travel in the UK.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree +10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated record of successful account management in large accounts (direct or indirect line leadership experience) and strong brand differentiation skills.
  • Deep clinical expertise in hematology/oncology disease and understanding of treatment landscape (5-7 years of experience).
  • Strong clinical understanding of cell therapy and ability to manage complex treatment logistics.
  • Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and/or Autolus policies. ABPI certified preferred.
