esure is a leading digital insurer that is constantly evolving and innovating. As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our digital marketing strategy and achieving business growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and scaling our paid digital marketing channels, optimizing our marketing spend, and driving improvements to return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and manage supporting performance channels to align with brand activity and maximize our brand campaign spend.
  • Manage and optimize our paid digital marketing channels (PPC, Social, Display, Affiliates).
  • Have a commercial mindset, exploring opportunities to maximize efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with our internal creative teams to deliver engaging content and creative for use across all channels.
  • Create and own end-to-end reporting on all performance channels, and represent marketing to report performance in relevant forums.
  • Be comfortable with Google Analytics and how to use it to find opportunities for improvement across all digital channels.
  • Be responsible for managing our budget and media plans, working alongside our digital marketing agency.
  • Work closely with the Senior Content Manager to ensure our post-click journey is optimized for conversion.
  • Manage and collaborate with agencies; briefing them on esure strategy and working to deliver media plans.
  • Champion change to improve processes and ways of working, and accelerate our digital maturity.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the constraints of a regulated environment, particularly Financial Services/Insurance an advantage.
  • Experience of cookie management and working knowledge of tools such as Segment and Onetrust to track customer events.
  • Experience of effectively managing PPC and Social channels (both paid and organic) for both brand building and sales driving initiatives.
  • Experience of managing affiliate relationships (Particularly in a post GIPP environment) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage and pull analysis across multiple digital platforms. Google ads, SA360, Facebook Ads Manager, and interpret this data to continuously improve performance.
  • Previous proven experience optimizing multiple channels and delivering significant improvements.
  • Commercially capable with a strong focus on data and results - A test & learn mentality.
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics preferred.
  • Strong communicator who is confident internal teams to define new projects and playback results.
  • Able to work with legal and compliance teams to ensure marketing materials are compliant whilst remaining creative.
