Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our digital marketing strategy, with a focus on paid digital marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize our paid digital marketing channels, including PPC, Social, Display, and Affiliates.
  • Work closely with our brand team and media buying agency to ensure effective use of budget.
  • Collaborate with our internal creative teams to deliver engaging content and creative for use across all channels.
  • Create and own end-to-end reporting on all performance channels, and represent marketing to report performance in relevant forums.
  • Be comfortable with Google Analytics and how to use it to find opportunities for improvement across all digital channels.
  • Manage and collaborate with agencies; briefing them on esure strategy and working to deliver media plans.
  • Champion change to improve processes and ways of working, and accelerate our digital maturity.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the constraints of a regulated environment, particularly Financial Services/Insurance an advantage.
  • Experience of cookie management and working knowledge of tools such as Segment and Onetrust to track customer events.
  • Experience of effectively managing PPC and Social channels (both paid and organic) for both brand building and sales driving initiatives.
  • Experience of managing affiliate relationships (Particularly in a post GIPP environment) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage and pull analysis across multiple digital platforms. Google ads, SA360, Facebook Ads Manager, and interpret this data to continuously improve performance.
  • Previous proven experience optimizing multiple channels and delivering significant improvements.
  • Commercially capable with a strong focus on data and results - A test & learn mentality.
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics preferred.
  • Strong communicator who is confident internal teams to define new projects and playback results.
  • Able to work with legal and compliance teams to esure marketing materials are compliant whilst remaining creative.
