About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at an award-winning hotel in the heart of London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the restaurant team in delivering exceptional service and cuisine to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the restaurant team in maintaining high standards of service and cuisine
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation, ensuring dishes are creative and of the highest quality
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with the head chef to develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
