Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at a reputable hospitality company in London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the management of the kitchen, menu development, and food costing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus
  • Manage the kitchen brigade, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Develop and implement food costing and inventory control systems
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and seasonal menus
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant or Michelin-starred establishment
  • Strong knowledge of Italian and British cuisine, menu development, and food costing
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
