About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to individuals with autism, promoting their independence, choice, and inclusion in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and household management.
  • Assist individuals with community activities, such as shopping, walking, and bike rides.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual's progress and care plans.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manual driving license and ability to drive a mobility car or service vehicle.
