About the Role
As a Lead Venue Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and construction of Live Nation's world-class entertainment venues across Europe. Reporting to the SVP - Design and Construction, your expertise will be instrumental in bringing our vision to life.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop innovative conceptual designs, detailed specifications, and compelling presentations for a range of projects, from new venue constructions to expansions and renovations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Project Development, Design & Architecture, Fan/Artist Services, F&B, Sponsorship, and Premium Sales, to ensure seamless integration of design elements with operational requirements.
- Manage external design and engineering consultants and vendors, guiding them through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Establish a cohesive design aesthetic for each venue, working in tandem with the Project Development and Design & Architecture team to translate business objectives into tangible architectural solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive construction bid documents and specifications, ensuring adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and Live Nation's standards.
- Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets, meticulously monitoring progress against established goals and timelines.
- Implement robust construction planning policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency on all projects.
- Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to identify potential constructability or coordination risks during the preconstruction phase.
- Oversee construction progress through on-site inspections and regular reviews, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Furniture Coordinator to create furniture plans, select furnishings, prepare budgets, and coordinate orders for each project.
- Work closely with Art and Branding teams to develop and implement venue art programs that enhance the overall guest experience.
