Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at The NBA Store. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, controlling expenses, and supervising a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Sales: Produce sales gains by providing customer service, meeting or exceeding company objectives, and maintaining strong product knowledge.
  • Control Expenses: Protect company assets, prepare store schedules, and manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, and conducting product counts.
  • Supervise Associates: Manage store associates through thorough use of NBA Store Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up, while recruiting, developing, and training store personnel to achieve operations objectives.

Requirements

  • At least two years of related experience as a Flagship level Store Manager or Area Manager within retail.
  • Established ability to produce sales results, while minimizing loss.
  • Proven leadership skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg and climb a ladder.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
  • Availability to work every day, including nights, weekends, and some holidays based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to prove eligibility to work in the UK.
