The Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust is dedicated to fostering young vocal talents from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they can participate in a rich cathedral tradition that has thrived for over a millennium. Our mission is to provide exceptional choral training and education opportunities to a broader audience across the UK.


To achieve this, the Trust offers financial support to gifted children, enabling them to receive top-tier musical training and a comprehensive education at Wells Cathedral School, whether they are day students or boarders.


We are currently seeking a skilled Administrator to fulfill a two-year fixed-term role. In this capacity, you will oversee the smooth administration of the Trust, uphold effective governance for the Trustee Board, and manage the daily operations of the office, including supervising the administrator.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient administrative processes within the Trust.
  • Support the governance of the Trustee Board.
  • Oversee daily office management and administration.
  • Provide line management for the office administrator.


Working Hours:
25 hours per week (flexible), with occasional evening and weekend commitments for Trustee meetings and supporter events.


Compensation:
Band E, Point 29 to Point 33 (£33,526 – £37,883) FTE, pro rata. Actual gross salary based on a full academic year: £22,350 – £25,255.

Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust offices.
