Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administration Manager to join our Radiology team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As an Administration Manager, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational management of the administrative and clerical staff who work across the areas of Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staff Management: You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
  2. Staff Rota Management: You will be responsible for creating and managing staff rotas to ensure that the administrative and clerical team are adequately staffed at all times.
  3. Appraisals and Training: You will be responsible for conducting regular appraisals with staff to discuss their performance and development needs, and for providing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge.
  4. Human Resources: You will be responsible for managing attendance and other Human Resources issues, including disciplinary procedures and grievances.
  5. Team Performance Management: You will be responsible for monitoring and improving the performance of the administrative and clerical team, including setting targets and objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
  6. National Guidelines and Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that National Guidelines associated with diagnostic bookings are met, and for ensuring that all staff are aware of and comply with these guidelines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with staff at all levels. You will also need to have a strong understanding of administrative and clerical procedures, and be able to manage a team of staff to achieve high standards of performance.
