About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable CAU Team Leader to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for leading a team of administrators and providing support to our surgical division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of administrators in a customer service environment
  • Monitor and validate theatre lists, pathways, and patient records
  • Liaise with consultants, nursing teams, and operational managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Provide administrative support to the surgical division, including data management and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and data protection
Requirements
  • GCSE level standard in numeracy and English or equivalent experience
  • NVQ 3 or relevant experience
  • Previous experience of leading a team in a customer service environment
  • In-depth knowledge of NHS PAS and EPR or similar administration system
  • Good understanding of wider NHS relationships between GPs and acute hospitals
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience within a surgical division
  • Database management skills
  • Understanding of 18 Week and Cancer Target rules
  • Understanding of Health Records legislation
