Role Overview

The legal services sector is experiencing significant transformation due to:

As a response to these dynamics, Ashurst has expanded its operations to deliver cutting-edge legal services that align with our global elite status. We are currently seeking Legal Analysts to join our Delivery Legal team, which is composed of qualified attorneys and skilled analysts.

Key Responsibilities

The role offers exposure to high-quality commercial legal work and developments within the NewLaw sector. You will engage in tasks that involve:

  • Supporting transactional activities, including company searches and transaction management;
  • Assisting in trial preparation, including evidence support and document indexing;
  • Conducting document reviews and managing production for client projects;
  • Overseeing data and document management, both electronic and physical.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Managing client projects on a daily basis;
  • Coordinating contributions from local counsel;
  • Developing and updating project plans;
  • Conducting research initiatives;
  • Assisting with file management, client reporting, and billing;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • LL.B (or equivalent law degree); completion of the Diploma in Legal Practice or LPC is not mandatory;
  • Passion for the evolving legal landscape and a commitment to developing expertise in NewLaw;
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills;
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail;
  • Resilience in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills;
  • High level of IT proficiency;
  • Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to exceed expectations.

Training and Development

We provide comprehensive training through our Learning Pathways, along with mentoring and coaching to help you acquire the necessary technical skills and deepen your expertise in various areas of commercial law.

Work Schedule

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Some flexibility may be required for out-of-hours work.

Background Verification

To meet regulatory and client standards, Ashurst conducts thorough vetting of staff. Background checks are performed with consent and in accordance with legal obligations.
