**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Operations Analyst to join our team at Barclays, where you will play a vital role in supporting our operational teams and crafting reports using a variety of systems within financial crime analysis.

As a Data Analyst/Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency
  • Supporting various business areas with day-to-day initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution
  • Creating reports and presentations on operational performance and communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders
  • Participating in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partnering with other functions and business areas to drive results
  • Escalating breaches of policies/procedures appropriately
  • Embedding new policies/procedures adopted due to risk mitigation
  • Taking ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to
  • Making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail
  • Acting as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside the team and external to the organization
