As a key member of the Data and Analytics Service, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic direction for better use of data to support service delivery and outcomes across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key stakeholders and users to identify and understand data, reporting, and analytical requirements.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure successful implementation of data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct business and technical analysis to translate requirements into innovative data, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
  • Produce documentation for business and technical audiences.
  • Contribute to service improvement and engage with users and colleagues across the business intelligence team.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in business and technical analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Knowledge of data solutions architecture.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will be based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow, and will work a standard Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week schedule. Hybrid working arrangements are currently in place.
