Role Overview

In response to these dynamics, Ashurst established its Glasgow office to provide cutting-edge legal services, further expanding with Global Delivery Centres in various locations. We are looking for dedicated Legal Analysts to join our growing Delivery Legal team in Glasgow, which consists of qualified lawyers and experienced analysts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Analyst, you will engage in high-quality commercial legal work, contributing to the development of services and solutions across Ashurst's global practices, including Corporate, Finance, and Strategic Advisory. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting transactional activities, including company searches and transaction management;
  • Assisting in trial preparation, including evidence support and document indexing;
  • Conducting document reviews for various client projects;
  • Managing data and document organization, both electronically and in hard copy.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Overseeing client project management;
  • Coordinating input from local counsel;
  • Maintaining project plans and conducting research;
  • Assisting with file management and client reporting.

Essential Qualifications

  • A law degree (LL.B or equivalent);
  • A keen interest in the evolving legal landscape;
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills;
  • Attention to detail and resilience in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficient IT skills and a professional demeanor.
