We are currently looking for motivated Legal Analysts to join our expanding Delivery Legal team. This team, comprising qualified legal professionals and skilled analysts, is designed to provide a solid foundation in NewLaw, offering diverse career pathways.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage with high-quality commercial legal work and contribute to innovative solutions across Ashurst's global practices, including Corporate, Finance, Funds & Restructuring, Projects & Real Estate, and Strategic Advisory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting transactional activities, including company searches and transaction management;
  • Assisting in trial preparation, including evidence organization and document indexing;
  • Conducting document reviews for various client projects;
  • Managing data and document organization, both electronically and in hard copy;

Additional duties may involve:

  • Overseeing client project management;
  • Coordinating with local counsel;
  • Developing and updating project plans;
  • Conducting research initiatives;
  • Assisting with file management and client reporting;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • LL.B (or equivalent law degree); completion of the Diploma in Legal Practice or LPC is not mandatory;
  • A keen interest in the evolving legal landscape and a desire to enhance expertise in NewLaw;
  • Strong organizational abilities;
  • A collaborative mindset and effective team player;
  • A positive attitude and attention to detail;
  • Resilience in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills;
  • High levels of IT proficiency;
  • A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

Training and Development

We provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you develop the necessary technical skills and deepen your knowledge in various areas of commercial law.

Work Schedule

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility for out-of-hours work may be required.

Our team operates in an agile working environment, with a mix of office-based and remote work.
