Job Overview

Position: Field Service Engineer for Asset Maintenance Solutions

Type: Permanent Contract

As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Asset Maintenance Solutions, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complying with safety protocols established by both the client and Briggs Equipment
  • Performing service and maintenance on Diesel, Petrol, and Electric-powered Small Plant, Agricultural, and Ground Care Equipment
  • Addressing breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and executing scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and promptly addressing any inquiries
  • Documenting job activities electronically and ensuring necessary parts are ordered for task completion
  • Keeping the company vehicle in excellent condition and stocked with the appropriate parts
  • Building and nurturing customer relationships through exceptional service

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A relevant technical qualification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
  • The capability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload
  • An understanding of customer requirements

In this role, you will receive:

  • A competitive base salary starting from £36,029 per annum based on a 40-hour work week
  • Overtime compensation at x1.5 for Monday to Saturday and x2 for Sundays
  • Access to a company vehicle for personal use, subject to tax obligations
