About the Company:


Interaction Technical has partnered with a prominent manufacturer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment located in the Dorset area to enhance their engineering team.

In response to the business's expansion, our client is seeking an electromechanical field engineer to operate in and around the Dorchester area, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various Agricultural machinery.

Benefits Package:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £30,000-£40,000 based on experience, with an OTE of £45,000-£50,000+
  • 32 days of holiday including bank holidays, increasing with tenure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precisely diagnosing faults, servicing, and performing emergency repairs on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, balers, etc.)
  • Traveling to customer locations to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest standards.
  • Conducting diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural equipment
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites while collaborating with colleagues to ensure thorough documentation and optimal solutions are provided.
  • Engaging with engines, batteries, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Communicating with clients to identify faults and propose effective solutions.
Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience with hydraulics, along with mechanical and electrical skills (essential)
  • Experience in the Agricultural sector (essential)
  • Background in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and servicing (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with engines and batteries (advantageous)
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  • Valid UK Driver's License
