About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Maintenance Solutions Field Service Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and policies set by customers and Briggs Equipment Ltd.
  • Perform the service and maintenance of diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
  • Attend breakdowns, fault-find, and complete planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure customer service is maintained at a high level and address any queries.
  • Complete job activity electronically and ensure all required parts to complete tasks are ordered.
  • Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard and ensure it has the correct parts stock.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through high standards of service.
Requirements
  • Relevant technical qualification.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize workload.
  • Understanding customer needs.
What We Offer
  • A base salary from £36,209pa based on a 40 hour working week.
  • Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday.
  • Vehicle available for private use if desired (tax to be paid).
