Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our team as Student Resident Assistants. As a Student Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the residents in our Halls, ensuring their safety and well-being, and contributing to the smooth running of the residences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
  • Organize and run social and wellbeing events to promote a positive living environment.
  • Undertake out-of-hours administration tasks to support the accommodation team.
  • Collaborate with other Student Resident Assistants and University staff to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Be a current resident in the Halls you will be working in for the academic year.
  • Be prepared to live in the Halls for the academic year 2023/2024.
  • Be comfortable with taking responsibility and dealing with situations independently.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to remain impartial and sensitive to student needs.
