Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Support Workers to assist individuals with complex learning disabilities. The role involves engaging in community activities such as farm visits, swimming, shopping, and participating in local day centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and social support, both at home and within the community.
  • Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs as necessary.
  • Support with shopping and budgeting tasks.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with residents' friends and family.
  • Perform household duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Accompany individuals on outings for walks, meals, and other desired activities.

Desired Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities, including Autism, is preferred but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A calm, caring demeanor with a positive attitude is essential.
  • Strong empathy, sensitivity, and understanding of others' needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer use.
  • Driving license is advantageous but not required.
