We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to provide personalized complex care for our client in their own home in Norwich.
The successful candidate will work on a flexible rota across all days to ensure continuity of care, offering 12-hour shifts from 08:00-20:00 or 10:00-22:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to our client with complex needs, including catheter care, PEG feeding, blood glucose monitoring, and medication administration.
- Ensure proper hydration, bathing, and perform general domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Accompany the client to appointments and follow SALT and continence guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Care for the client's Labrador, including taking her for walks.
Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
- You must be a driver with a full UK driving licence, as this role may include driving the client to appointments.
- You must be comfortable in a smoking environment.
- Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a 'person-centred' way.
- Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.

- Be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate.
- Committed to confidentiality and treating the client with dignity and respect.
