About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team at Lincoln Close, a registered service providing accommodation and care for individuals with complex learning and physical disabilities.

As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support that is tailored to the individual needs of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing social and emotional support to residents, either at home or in their local community
  • Supporting residents with their personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required
  • Assisting with shopping and budgeting
  • Building and maintaining relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Performing household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompanying residents on outings, such as walks, meals, and other activities

We are looking for an individual who is calm, caring, and has a positive outlook. Ideally, you will have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism. However, we welcome applications from individuals with no prior experience, as full training will be provided.
