About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to provide personalized complex care for our client in their own home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the client's physical and emotional well-being, while also maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to the client, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
  • Monitor and manage the client's medical conditions, including diabetes and multiple sclerosis, and administer medication as required.
  • Assist with catheter care, PEG feeding, blood glucose monitoring, and other medical procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure proper hydration, bathing, and general domestic tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Accompany the client to appointments and provide support during medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the client receives comprehensive care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, including assistance with social activities and hobbies.
Requirements
  • Experience in care work, preferably with complex care needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure.
