Position Summary:

  • Champion and cultivate a robust risk management culture throughout the organization.
  • Oversee operational risk initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to strengthen the operational risk framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive risk registers, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and document Risk Events.
  • Deliver accurate and relevant Management Information (MI) regarding operational risks.
  • Support reporting processes to the Executive Committee, Board Risk Committee, and Board of Directors.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of risk management principles and internal control mechanisms.
  • Experience within a Trade Finance setting.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in MS Excel.

Desired Software Knowledge:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Essential), with knowledge of VBA (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with MS Word and MS Outlook.

Additional Knowledge Considered Beneficial:

  • Understanding of IT frameworks and Cyber risk.
  • Experience with Temenos (T24), Calypso, Eurobase-Siena.
  • Background in accounting principles.
