Job Summary:
Paritas Recruitment - Risk is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's operational resilience and risk management frameworks are effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake critical assessments of operational resilience systems and controls to ensure they are effective and aligned with the bank's risk appetite.
- Challenge and test the effectiveness of service and operational resilience systems, engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational resilience and risk management, working closely with the first line of defense to ensure business activities align with the bank's risk appetite.
- Provide oversight and guidance on the implementation and effective oversight of the bank's Resilience Risk Framework and associated policies.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of operational resilience frameworks, regulation, and standards such as DORA, ISO 22301, FCA/PRA/BOE operational resilience guidelines, ORIC, etc.
- Significant recent experience in operational resilience and risk management, preferably in a financial services or banking environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
