Validus Risk Management Ltd. is in search of a skilled and motivated professional to take on the role of Head of Trading Operations.

In this pivotal position, you will be tasked with managing all facets of trading operations, ensuring the seamless execution of trades across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all trading operations functions, including trade confirmation, payment processing, reconciliation, and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Design and implement trading strategies and processes aimed at enhancing trading efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with departments such as risk management and compliance to establish effective risk control measures.
  • Lead and mentor the trading operations team, offering guidance and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate trading data and performance metrics, pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Stay informed about market trends and developments, assessing their potential impact on trading operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in trading operations, ideally in a leadership capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and trading operations, including trade execution, settlement, and risk management.
  • Strong grasp of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing trading strategies and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are advantageous.
