Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll is seeking a skilled Payroll Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to employees on payroll-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical skills including Payroll System experience and Excel skills are essential for this role.
  • You will support the busy payroll department with high-volume starters and leavers, ensuring all necessary payments are made within deadlines.
  • Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns is required.
  • You must have very strong Excel skills, including VLookUps and Pivot Tables.
  • This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • You will provide comprehensive advice to employees on payroll queries and ensure all necessary payments are made within deadlines.
  • Manual calculations and experience of T & A system are also desirable.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Previous payroll experience in a similar role is highly valued.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
  • You will be working as part of a team, so the ability to work collaboratively is important.
  • Confident with Excel and able to provide excellent customer service.
