About the Role:

As a Regional Facilities Manager at CBRE, you will oversee the daily operations of the team responsible for the management and maintenance of facilities across a designated area.

This position is integral to the Facilities Management sector, focusing on the operational efficiency of a portfolio of assets and providing essential support to Property Managers regarding maintenance and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to team members. Facilitate training and professional development. Conduct performance assessments and provide coaching. Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new personnel.

• Oversee facilities management for multiple locations, ensuring effective leadership of FM Coordinators and necessary site visits.

• Direct daily operations within the assigned region and act as the primary liaison with regional leadership.

• Serve as the main point of contact for all strategic, operational, and financial matters within the region on behalf of the organization.

• Manage all aspects of on-site facilities operations.

• Oversee the operational budget, ensuring that facilities staff deliver services within the established financial parameters.

• Lead operational initiatives focusing on cost savings, quality, health, safety, and environmental sustainability.

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies for the facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Coordinate tasks among the CBRE team, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless operations.

• Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

• Implement a regular site inspection program to evaluate all facilities and generate comprehensive reports.

• Organize and oversee the daily activities of the team, establishing work schedules, assigning responsibilities, and providing mentorship.

• Manage the delivery of on-site services through collaboration with the CBRE team and external vendors.

• Conduct facility inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

• Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety protocols, including contractor management and best practices.

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients alike.

• Coordinate team activities and ensure effective communication regarding regional facilities performance.

• Prepare reports on property conditions, emergency preparedness, and facility audits.

• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

• Create presentations to secure project approvals.

• Establish strategic objectives for facility management, including capital projects and budget reports.

• Regularly inspect facilities for quality assurance and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively manage sensitive and complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced mathematical skills for financial calculations and analysis.
