About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team at COLAS ROAD UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our highway infrastructure, ensuring that our roads and transportation systems are safe and efficient.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our highway maintenance teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards and within the required timeframe.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring that our infrastructure is always in good working order.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and provide guidance and support to our teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that our services meet their needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in highway maintenance and management, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid clean driving license and ability to travel to various sites as required.
