About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team at COLAS ROAD UK. As a Highways Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our highway maintenance services.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of highway maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in highway maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of maintenance operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Valid clean driving license and ability to travel to various sites.
