About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SSE Enterprise Utilities. As an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our energy centers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Maintenance Teams: You will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance personnel to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide Technical Assistance: You will provide technical assistance to clients, contractors, and work colleagues as required.
  • Report Maintenance Activity: You will be responsible for reporting all maintenance activity to management and ensuring that all maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have experience in managing maintenance teams and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Qualifications: You will have a recognized apprenticeship and be qualified to ND/City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical/Gas engineering discipline.
  • Certifications: You will have SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safety Certification in Site Safety Management.
