Senior Social Media Manager | Competitive Salary | On-site Role | Willingness to Travel Required

Premier Sports Network is collaborating with a dynamic motorsport marketing firm seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to oversee the social media presence of a prominent athlete.

About the Company:

  • A creative agency located in London specializing in managing the personal brands of F1 drivers.
  • Engaged in various domains including branding, marketing, social media, merchandise, digital strategies, and content development.
  • A small, agile start-up environment fostering innovation and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling content to cultivate a loyal fanbase for a leading F1 athlete.
  • Oversee all aspects of the athlete's social media, from strategic planning to content creation and publication.
  • Ensure the athlete's personal brand is consistently represented across all platforms.
  • Engage the audience by executing and promoting relevant partnerships and merchandise initiatives.
  • Lead strategy and execution, with some hands-on editing, while supervising a Social Media Executive for extensive editing tasks.
  • Craft a positive narrative around the athlete, identifying opportunities to enhance and distinguish their identity within the F1 arena.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a comparable agency or team-oriented social media position.
  • Self-driven and proactive in approach.
  • Commercially savvy, with a keen awareness of current social media trends and how top athletes and influencers maintain relevance.
  • Experience managing high-profile social media accounts with 100k+ followers is essential.
  • Background in motorsport or experience with elite athletes is crucial.
  • Thorough understanding of best practices and emerging trends across major social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Proficient in both long-form and short-form content creation.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 weekends throughout the F1 season is mandatory.
