About the Role

CPI is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective management of our inventory and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality systems to maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Data Integrity (DI), quality and best practice requirements.
  • Review and maintain the warehouse and associated equipment, including forklifts, cylinder storage, laydown areas, and office spaces.
  • Develop an understanding of the flow of raw materials and consumables throughout the facility, including goods in, warehouse storage, distribution to laboratories, and goods out.
  • Ensure that raw materials and consumables are allocated to the correct projects to accurately capture costs.
  • Maintain visibility of stock levels, ensure continuous availability, correct labeling, location, and use of first-in/first-out principles.
  • Develop an understanding of warehouse integrity, including accountability of all goods in/out movements to maintain inventory control.
  • Pack all items and parts for safe delivery to customers or vendors, and assist warehouse coordinators in liaising with carriers for delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths or English.
  • Proactive approach to work and ability to communicate effectively with a range of people.
  • Professional attitude to work at all times.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to a high standard.
  • Initiative to consider all options before arriving at a conclusion.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment and knowledge of Orders and Inventory Control Systems, such as SAP/SAGE/D, purchasing systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
